The everyday behaviour of building users is a crucial element of the energy saving process. In practice, the monitoring and live on-line presentation of the use of media in different parts of the buildings, combined with showing "Ecoadvice", remind us that everyone can take steps to help protect the environment, which in turn results in cost reductions. Ecopanel shows the scope of influence on media use and the environment of even the smallest actions of many people. The ECOPanel visual information system is located in a generally accessible part of the facility and forms the central element of the system. The system is universal and scalable, and can be used in large office buildings, universities, or small schools.
Nowadays cities are areas where modern and efficient methods for supplying facilities with electric energy influence the quality and cost of life of the inhabitants as well as the profitability of commercial projects. Innovative and cost-effective energy solutions can form one of the sources of competitive advantage for a developer.
Obtaining such an advantage is possible thanks to cooperation with ENGIE, which takes the role of a local electric energy distributor (OSDn) for a given facility - a residential area or a commercial facility, which could be a shopping centre, an office building or a hotel. ENGIE can be, in the scope agreed on with the developer, responsible for the designed and used solutions in all aspects: technical, organisational, formal, legal, and financial.
The most important benefits for the developer and for the future users of the building, resulting from the form of agreement, are:
